My career in the medical field began in 1995 as a medical assistant with Health Services Inc. During those 15 years in a multi-specialty practice, I gained experience in patient care and also the business side of healthcare. In 2008, I became employed with Montgomery Cancer Center as a billing clerk.
What is your title and what do you do at CARO?
I’m a Certified Professional Coder at CARO. My role consists of medical coding, billing, and auditing of charges.
How did you become a part of CARO?
After receiving my CPC certification in 2008, I was fortunate to be offered a billing position at Montgomery Cancer Center.
What do you like most about working at CARO?
The kindness and compassion that our doctors and team show to our patients each day. I enjoy working in a family-centered environment. I am looking forward to what the future holds for this company.
When you’re not at work, what are some of your hobbies and interests?
I like to shop, do art-crafts, and watch movies. I love spending time with my family and friends.
