I graduated from the University of Florida in 1991 with a Master’s Degree that is specific to medical radiation physics.

What is your title and what do you do at CARO?

I am a Radiation Physicist. Some of the things my job involves are measuring the radiation coming out of the accelerators to ensure accurate dose delivery, ensuring that we are compliant with regulatory rules that are required for radiation treatments, working with a physics and dosimetry team to provide customized radiation treatment plans for every patient, and delivering high does rate treatments with radioactive sources.

How did you become a part of CARO?

I moved to Montgomery in 2004 to join the CARO team. The reputation of this facility was well known, and when an opportunity became available, I was fortunate enough to come aboard.

When you’re not at work, what are some of your hobbies and interests?

When I’m not working, I love spending time outside in the country with my dogs.
