Staci Copeland

Employee background:

I am originally from Selma, but moved to Millbrook over 10 years ago. Since that time, I worked in Cath Lab and Endoscopy at Jackson Hospital and later worked at MCC before coming here to CARO.

What is your title and what do you do at CARO?

I am a Registered Nurse at CARO. I serve as a patient coordinator, educator, and advocate in providing the best plan of care for patients and their families. I often work with our great doctors and therapists to assist patients with symptom management, education, and emotional support during the treatment process.

How did you become a part of CARO?

After working as a chemo infusions nurse at MCC, I was offered the position here at CARO.

What do you like most about working at CARO?

For me, it’s the patients. It is a joy to get to know them each individually. God has given me the passion to serve, so it’s a pleasure to use this in my profession. My CARO family has been a blessing to me. I’ve never worked with a greater team of people who sincerely care about each other as well as our patients.

When you’re not at work, what are some of your hobbies and interests?

Those that know me well know that I love Jesus, my family, and my sweet friends. Aside from that, I love to cycle, cook, run, read, and ballroom dance.
